Recently Easy WP SEO 1.6 was released. This new version has some great new features that make it pull even further ahead of other on-page SEO plugins.

URL Analyzer

This super slick new feature gives you the ability to analyze any URL on your site, not just posts and pages. With the URL Analyzer, you can now optimize your home page, category and other archive pages, basically any content anywhere on your site. If it’s accessible through a URL, it can be analyzed.

This image shows the URL Analyzer summary page which displays the URLs set up to be scored. I have my home page, which contains post excerpts, entered in. Its current SEO score, primary keyword and keyword density are displayed.

Easy WP SEO is a recent WordPress SEO plugin similar to SEOPressor. It analyzes the content of posts and pages in the same way to help users with on-page SEO optimization. I’ve been using it for a few months now, and am really very impressed with it. Hopefully my Easy WP SEO review will give you a clear idea of what this plugin does and how it can help you optimize your sites.

Easy WP SEO Features

This plugin has a lot of features. Like similar plugins, it looks at keyword density, title and meta tags, checks for keywords in permalinks and heading tags, does automatic keyword decoration (making them appear in bold, italics and underline font), and so on. If you’re familiar with ClickBump SEO! or SEOPressor, you’ve seen the same functionality in those plugins.

I made these screenshots as I was writing this post, so the relatively low SEO score and high keyword density reflect that. I still have some optimizing to do.

To me, what sets Easy WP SEO apart from the others are some very nice features exclusive to this plugin.
